Object Description This was a college project to be done individually. They let me do absolutely anything I wanted to do with computers so I thought a CGI bike would keep my attention. I was originally going to make a movie with it where It would have had a hot chick in tight leathers riding it, getting chased and shot at by the army, using the City model I made. Before the end of the street, I planned to build highways that go around high up in the city, which the girl would end up jumping off to ramp off a sky scraper (on the left in the top right image), and land on a spaceship to find her way inside and hijack a smaller one to escape.
It may look it at a glance, but it actually isn't 100% finished yet. I still have to attach both brake systems to their counterparts, and create the visible parts of the gears system, and setup the glass and light on the front light to work properly. Video 1 (Right click and "Save target as" to download) 724kb Latest model as of July 2008 Video 2 (Right click and "Save target as" to download) 2.18mb An older video. High Resolution Renders This version has the newest exhausts, older models will probably not be rendered again. The same applies for the UV mapped tire textures.
This render took two weeks. Then I noticed the textures on the bike hadn't loaded up. Single Shade This was for a mothers day card. The old headlight, before I finished the engine. Wires and Tests |

A comparison to choose between the two oldest exhausts from the best I could get them to look using different angles.

Fuel Cap A bump map test on the fuel cap. |

Test Wheel On this wheel the tread was made in 3D, I was going for a perfectly recreated motorbike down to every last bolt, but my computer couldn't handle it by the time it came to making the brake discs.
Chain This was going to be put on the bike but it was too much effort at the time, so I just put a full chain guard on. Edit A two second edit in Paintshop Pro. Hey it's modern art.
